Mother Tongues Festival team 2020

The Mother Tongues Festival 2022 in Tallaght will take place on February 26th and will span across  Rua Red and The Civic Theatre. We will have workshops and events ranging from creative activities for children to music performances. Volunteer applicants will be required to respond with the times they are available, spanning from 9:30 am – 8:00 pm across the festival dates.

Volunteer Tasks
Volunteers will help to ensure that the Mother Tongues Festival runs as smoothly as possible, in various departments of the festival. The areas that will need volunteers are admittance into the various venues, capacity management and ticketing checking. You may be welcoming Festival-goers at one of the venues or helping the artists behind the scenes… This is a great way to get first-hand insight into the inner workings of the largest festival celebrating linguistic diversity through the arts in Ireland.

Volunteer roles will differ depending on each individual’s experience and skills. This will be discussed between the applicant and the volunteer supervisor during the interview stage of the recruitment process.
