Do you know that more than half of the world’s population is bilingual or multilingual? But many are not aware of the super powers that bilingualism has on your brain and health. Join Dr Maria Garaffa and her 9 year old daughter Rosa, for this interactive workshop for families, where we will explore the language system, discover mysterious languages and find out why bilingual brains are more flexible and how they can keep us healthy.

Maria Garraffa is a scientist interested in the benefit of language learning across the LifeSpan.
Her research covers language learning in both cognitive and social deprived groups. She has two daughters and they love talking about their bilingual brain.

HOW TO GET THERE
By car:  The Draíocht is located on the Navan Road/N3 off the M50 and there are over 7000 free parking spaces available. Take the exit for Blanchardstown off the M50 and follow the signs for the Blanchardstown Centre.
By bus: Bus Routes servicing the Centre include
