Meet the artist
Ta Tum Tum!, created by Artistic Director Kasia Eliasz, is an interactive performance that introduces children to Brazilian culture through rhythm, movement, and playful storytelling. Inspired by the sounds of drums and body percussion, Ta Tum Tum! invites young audiences to explore Brazilian musical traditions such as samba, forró, and frevo. The performance is brought to life by three Brazilian artists: William Kanela (vocals and Portuguese call-and-response), Franklin Martin (movement influenced by samba and capoeira), and Marcio Tarktarov (percussion and traditional rhythms). Together, they create a joyful, immersive introduction to Brazil’s vibrant cultural heritage.
