Meet the artist
Casandra Moreno
Casandra is a professional dancer and educator with over 30 years of experience in the performing arts. She has dedicated her career to mastering a diverse range of disciplines, including ballet, jazz dance, Latin rhythms and folklore.
Casandra’s deep connection to Rapa Nui culture began during her time with prestigious companies such as BAFOCHI and BAFONA. In 2011, she traveled to Easter Island to participate in the annual TAPATI RAPA NUI cultural festival. This experience allowed her to immerse herself fully in the island’s heritage, where she spent time learning the history, music and traditional dances that define the region. Through her teaching and performance, Casandra continues to share the fascinating traditions and techniques she has gathered over three decades of professional practice.
