W tym warsztacie opowieści i teatru dzieci i rodzice wyruszą w pełną magii podróż do świata polskich legend. Spotkają Juratę, Królową Mórz o sercu z bursztynu, Dziewannę — strażniczkę lasów i zwierząt — oraz figlarnego Leszego, który zna każdy zakamarek puszczy. Rodziny będą poruszać się od opowieści do opowieści, odwiedzając kolejne stacje, gdzie czekają na nich twórcze, pełne zmysłów działania inspirowane właśnie usłyszaną historią. Przez zabawę maską, improwizację, małe rękodzieło oraz dźwięki, dotyki i zapachy uczestnicy ożywią dawne mity. Na koniec stworzą plakat–pamiątkę, w którym uchwycą emocje, postaci i odkrycia swojej baśniowej wędrówki.
In this storytelling and drama workshop, children and parents journey into the magical world of Polish legends, meeting powerful female figures and nature spirits such as Sea Queen Jurata, Forest Goddess Dziewanna and the playful Leszy. Guided through a series of storytelling stations, families move together in a circular adventure, with each station offering creative, sensory-rich activities inspired by the tale just heard. Through mask play, dramatic improvisation, simple crafts, and explorations of sound, touch and smell, participants bring myths to life. The workshop concludes with a reflective art poster capturing the emotions, characters and discoveries of their journey.
Meet the artist
Justyna Cwojdzinska
Justyna Cwojdzińska is a Polish theatre practitioner, cultural facilitator and arts educator based in Ireland. She creates bilingual and non-verbal theatre for young audiences, blending mask, storytelling and physical performance to craft sensory, inclusive experiences that connect children across cultures. As Founder and Artistic Director of the Polish Arts Festival, she develops productions and workshops that celebrate imagination, intercultural dialogue and community participation. Her practice spans live performance, participatory projects and creative engagement with families. Justyna’s work has been supported through numerous bursaries and artist development programmes, including the LEAP Programme, Arts Council YPCE Bursary and Vital Spark.
