Little Storymakers is a playful, interactive workshop for young children that celebrates the power of story through music, rhythm and imagination. Designed for ages 3–6, the session invites families to explore how stories begin, using simple English and Irish phrases. Together, we create a lively “fill-in-the-blank” musical story, guided by movement, rhythm and the children’s own ideas. No Irish is needed, everyone can join in and enjoy learning through sound and creativity. This joyful workshop encourages confidence, curiosity and expression, showing children that storytelling and language become magical when we make them together.

Deartha do pháistí 3–6 bliana d’aois, tugann an seisiún cuireadh do theaghlaigh iniúchadh a dhéanamh ar conas a thosaíonn scéalta, ag úsáid frásaí simplí i mBéarla agus i nGaeilge. Cruthaímid scéal ceolmhar “líon-na-bpláinc” le chéile, faoi threoir gluaiseachta, rithime agus smaointe na bpáistí féin. Níl gá le Gaeilge — is féidir le gach duine páirt a ghlacadh. Meet the artist
Pius
Pius is a multidisciplinary artist creating original work in music, film, and visual storytelling. He wrote, directed, and composed the short film Omozé, which screened at the Galway Film Festival, at the Mother Tongues Festival 2025 and aired on RTÉ. A dynamic live performer, he has appeared at Electric Picnic and arts events across Ireland and the UK. Pius also leads music and storytelling workshops in schools and youth centres, and mentors young musicians with Noise Music. His work with Mother Tongues supports multilingual children in expressing identity through sound and creativity.
