Children and families are invited to participate by making self-portraits and adding them to a growing artwork displayed on the café wall at Rua Red.
Using paper collage, language, colour, and shapes, participants will express who they are and where they come from. Everyone becomes an artist, everyone leaves their mark. The exhibition, unfolding in real time, will be shaped by the voices and stories of those present. Together, we create a collective portrait celebrating Ireland’s cultural and linguistic diversity. 

Mother Tongues Festival continues its creative association with Scoil Aoife Community National School in City West, with this participatory project for the festival family day.
