Meet the artist
Zita Monahan McGowan
Zita Monahan-McGowan holds an M.A in Drama and Theatre Studies from NUI Galway and an ADPA Diploma in Performance Arts Teaching (London). She is the Artistic Director of Mr. Sands Youth Theatre in Bray, Co. Wicklow has a particular interest in devising theatre and theatrical improvisation. Theatre/Performance credits include: Little Amal (Branar Téatar do Pháistí 2024) The Crow’s Way Moonfish Theatre (Dublin Fringe Festival and Baboró International Arts Festival For Children, 2023) Sruth na Teanga (Branar Téatar do Pháistí , Galway 2020) Redemption Falls, Moonfish Theatre (Galway International Arts Festival and Dublin Theatre Festival 2019) Star of the Sea ,Moonfish Theatre (National and International U.S Tour 2014 – 2017)
