Explore the tale of the creation of Hangeul, Korea’s unique alphabet, brought to life through drama, storytelling, and cultural exploration. We create an engaging experience that connects languages and cultures using traditional Korean artefacts and interactive, participatory drama. Through play and creativity, we make language learning fun, engaging, and truly unforgettable – don’t miss it!

Meet the facilitators

Eunjee Do

Lecturer in Korean Language, with a specialisation in teaching Korean as a second and foreign language, Eunjee Do has also taught heritage learners aged 3 to 12 for ten years in Dublin. Her work focuses on curriculum development for Korean language learners and integrating cultural elements into language teaching. She brings a rich understanding of Korean language education theory to the project, ensuring that the content is culturally authentic and pedagogically sound.

Eun Jee Do

Jungmi Hur

Jungmi Hur is a PhD candidate in Education, focusing on innovative teaching methods in drama education, particularly in the context of children and language learning. Her expertise in pedagogy informs the workshop’s structure, ensuring that the activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and pedagogically sound. She is also a teaching artist (Drama) and a member of the theatre company Drama Lounge in South Korea.

MINYEONG HA

Ha Min Yeong is a PhD candidate in Applied Linguistics, specialising in foreign language acquisition and cognitive linguistics. She brings expertise in how foreign language learning can be supported through cross-cultural engagement and immersion, emphasising practical language teaching techniques that foster deep linguistic connections.
