Meet the facilitators

Founded in 2010, the Association of Brazilian Families in Ireland (AMBI) started the journey with a group of immigrant mothers in Ireland, who felt the need to keep the Portuguese language and Brazilian cultural legacy to their children, born on the Emerald Isle. Today, more than a decade later, AMBI acts as a community organization, committed to promoting Brazilian culture and encouraging the maintenance of the Portuguese language as a heritage language for expatriate families in Ireland, valuing our language and contact with different aspects of Brazilian culture, stimulating a feeling of belonging and a sense of community for those who were born or emigrated here.
