Este divertido e interactivo taller de danza y movimiento está lleno de juegos físicos especialmente diseñados para que padres/madres/tutores y niños/niñas se muevan y jueguen juntos. Desde abajo en el suelo hasta lo alto en el aire, por todas partes, tiempo de improvisación y tiempo de abrazos: descubre cómo mejorar tus juegos y la interacción física con tus pequeños. Un recordatorio para pasar tiempo de calidad juntos como familia. Este taller facilita moverse y jugar juntos, ayudando a desarrollar las habilidades motoras de los niños y niñas, explorar posibilidades físicas y generar confianza mutua.

This fun and interactive dance and movement workshop is filled with physical games specially designed for parents and children to move and play together. From low on the floor to high in the air, all around, jam time and cuddle time – discover how to enhance your games and physical interaction with your little ones. A reminder to spend quality time together as a family. This workshop makes it easy to move and play together, helping to develop a children’s motor skills, explore physical possibilities and build mutual trust.

Meet the artist

Monica Muñoz

Monica Muñoz is originally from Barcelona and has been based in Dublin since 2015. She graduated from the Folkwang University of the Arts under the direction of Pina Bausch. As a dancer, she has been working for over 25 years across Europe and has performed with companies such as Tanztheater Heidlberg-Freiburg, Cie Drift, Rui Horta, Konstantinos Rigos, Public in Private, Malou Airaudo, and more.
In Ireland, she has collaborated with CoisCeim as a performer, assistant, and teacher. Over the past years, she has been focusing on creating dance experiences for and with young people presented in theatre venues, libraries, schools, and outdoor spaces.
Recent credits include “Princesses Can Be Pirates,” which has been performed internationally, and “Fall and Float.” In 2021, she was commissioned by Tipperary Dance to create a dance piece for schoolyards titled “UP-CLOSE.” Monica was the third Early Years John Coolohan Artist in Residence at The Ark, 2021-22. She teaches dance in community and education contexts, including the University of Limerick, Creative Schools, Arts Council, and Creative Hubs from Dublin City Council.
