Covid Monster's Visit
To promote languages and plurilingualism, Tribes Press’s translators have worked together to create a plurilingual reading experience. Can you guess which languages are used? Listen carefully and try to spot « mam » and « dad » in different languages!
From squishy hands and squishy toes, Covid Monster is causing problems wherever he goes. The children of the world cannot play in playgrounds or visit their grandparents and they cannot wait for Covid Monster’s Mum to call him back home.
This is Marguerite Tonery’s first picture book, who as a psychologist, supports children not to internalise what’s happening in the pandemic world. It’s a book that tells children they did nothing wrong and it is not because of them that they are not allowed to see their grandparents, play with their friends and do all the fun things they love.
Covid Monster’s Visit, written by Marguerite Tonery and illustrated by Fabrice Matray, is available at www.tribespress.com/shop
