From sean-nós to Sena kuvina

No need for dancing shoes, experience or good dancing skills! This workshop will bring out the dancer in you! Whether you are into Sean-nós or Salsa, Tarantella or Afro-beats, tune in to share a few steps with us! We will dance to feel free, to connect with others and to share some laughter! Suitable for ages 0 to 109!

Cuthbert Arutura is a Zimbabwean artist and activist who has lived in Ireland for nearly 30 years. As an accomplished Communicator, Artist and Political Commentator he has been an active proponent of cultural and cross-cultural activities in Ireland, the UK and Europe. He is an Irish speaker and dancer and has a deep interest in all aspects of Irish traditional culture such as ancient poetry and dance. He has had regular appearances on BBC Northern Ireland & RTé on artistic and cultural subjects.

This event will be brought to you by MotherTongues and supported by Social Inclusion Unit, South Dublin County Council to raise awareness of European Action Week Against Racism.
